Can the Blues only win after late withdrawals?

Gee, Carlton are becoming good at overcoming adversity. Campo and Lappin out late but they never looked like losing. Very cool in the last quarter. Disciplined. And .... we got to see Plunkett in the big stuff. Doering got better as the match progressed. Wiggins showed something when he got on the ground. Kouta is improving week by week. Hulme is a star and Ratten again, the gun. Even Lance got some good touches. A step forward is better than backwards.

The game was frustrating to watch as we did the hard work to get the breaks and then let in some easy goals through poor turnovers. But, once again, we had some real positives.

Bring on the Pies!!

i'm still a bit worried about big lance
he's getting touches but he isn't doing what he used to
what happened to 3 goals a match
it
's turning into a point and then shove him in the backline coz he aint doin nuthin up forward
i don't hink we're having much luck with injuries at all
allan, kouta, braddles, sos, lappin
5 rounds and half our team has already missed at least 1 match!
oh well we're still doin ok and thats what counts

Everyone seems to think Collingwood will win. We're home!!!

I'm honestly concerned about the Collingwood match.... Collingwood had shown that they are a very good team this year - at the moment anyway.

I don't know, I'm predicting a close one - can't wait until Sunday - it should be a great day. I love Carlton v Collingwood - even if the game isn't that close, the atmosphere is fantastic. The Collingwood v Carlton rivalry is the biggest - it'll be a great day, let's hope the blues can win!

It is hard to know which Blues team will show up this week Meg. The Pies have had an extra three days to recover. Then again, playing two blockbusters in a row would have to be mentally taxing on the young Pies players. I know the Blues will lift though. We lost by 12 goals and won by 100 points last year so anything can happen.
