Hey guys,

Does anyone think we can beat Carlton this week? I'm interested to hear from the neutral supporters out there. I think with Jars back we stand a very good chance!

Carn the crows!

I didn't see or hear anything about the Brisbane game but there are obviously still some problems in the team patterns. (if there are any).

Also our record at Optus Oval is horrible so I'm not very confident. Haven't lost all hope for the year though and it would be nice just to see some sort of improvement this week.

I also just read that Riccuito, Mcleod and Richardson are out and Goodwin is doubtful.

I think the game will be very close, sad to here Mcleod not going to be playing, Jars will be back, crows by 13 pts!

Crows have got the same chance of winning as a snowman has of getting through a crematorium still frozen

If the Crows beat Carlton, I'll fly around my suburb naked. Anyone who wishes to humiliate me will have to figure out where I live though. (Danni - Sshhhhh)

I don't think Crows will win against Carlton. But I also think it will be a lot closer than some seem to think. I'd love to see a Blues fan trying to fly around, but I probably can do without the naked bit.

I can't believe Ricciuto isn't playing because of a wedding. A family bereavement or something like that maybe but a wedding?? Sure it isn't a vital game but after the performance last week, both by him and the team, his leadership out on the ground is greatly needed. Couple that with the loss of McLeod......

no ricciuto, no richardson, no Burton, no Hewitt, ... no win, but a bloody close call. Carlton had about the same number missing, so to my mind the teams should have been equally shy of good form ... and that was exactly the way it panned out.

Another game Crows should have won, but didn't. Allen was a bit too good around the fround for us but apart from that it was pretty even.

Still a close result, as some predicted. I bet ODN is gald he doesn't have to figure out how to fly naked, could have been a bit embarassing hey?

Ok we should of won but didnt...but im happy we played good for the 1st,2nd, and 4th quarters. I was impressed with Stenglein and Mcgregor, played very well. Also mcleod was good, i also think Crowell and Ladhams were good. Bassett at FF? well he did his job, well done!

WE lost by 6 pts, but we can take alot of positives out of the match!

Did Johnson play?? I can't remember seeing him. I didn't see last week but I reckon it was an improvement and if we can move the ball in quicker into our forward lines (and not bomb the ball in) we should get better. It always seemed the Blues had numbers in the backline when we kicked it into our forward 50. It was far from a great display but reasonably heartening I thought and something we can build on next week against the Doggies.

Johnson didn't play. Nor did Eccles, Hewitt, Roo, Hart or Burton. McLeod did play (when originally he wasn't going to) in place of Johnson.

We still have a bit of work to do particularly with movement into the forward line. Carlton had a fair bit more posession than us, but I think thats a side effect of the way they tend to chip it around a lot.

I thought we played OK. A but rusty, perhaps. In the end, it was really only the home ground advantage that got them over the line. I can still see us as a genuine premeirship threat.

Crows.ok - I think we should take all this joker's posts with a grain of salt. Obviously he's being a LITTLE bit sarcastic and is posting like this to stir the pot.

*shakes his head*
you have GOT to be kidding me if you think the crows will be a genuine premiership threat. You surrended a four goal lead, you had NO forward setup at all, just bombing it in to a bunch of small blokes...yes you had players out, but your depth is somewhat shocking. Ladhams is a good pickup, but Gallagher, Byrne, Shirlry...i hope for y our sake none of those play any games at all this year. If anything you are JUST a top 8 threat...your going overboard with the premiership threat yet.

Macca, this guy is being sarcastic. Crowsok stole Crows.ok name. Don't worry about him.

I actually forgot I had made that statement at the time. lol (phew)

I was out and about and the radio gave a progress score of Adelaide 69, Carlton 66 so when I heard the full time score on the news as Carlton 72, Adelaide 66, I thought they had it wrong and we had lost. That happened many years ago when the full time scores showed us beating Melbourne by 2 points or so but all the subsequent media reports said Melbourne had won. Unfortunately the latter was correct.

Luckily for my neighbourhood doesn't have to worry about my escapade and the air force won't be needed to investigate a rather perverted U.F.O!!!

I'll leave the bold statements to Andrew Jarman, the modern day Lou Richards.
