Yes I've made myself scarce from this joint over the last few days - Sunday's game hurt really bad as we had the team to beat Essendumb and we put ourselves in a winning position. Still, credit where it's due - they wanted to win more than we did. We looked weak and at times didn't seem to be playing as a team.
Anyway, back to the point to this thread!
I guess I had my hopes up that after sitting through the ugly biased Tony Shaw and his mafia mob at Channel 10, I was hoping that come Cometti magic on Channel 9 would be a better alternative.
What do we get? Houston/Boston Crabb opening the show with his smirky look and then introducing Brian Taylor who was the 'expert'.
The 'expert' who is good mates with Brad Hardie (say no more) said in the opening quarter "This kick will really test Haynes, I don't think he can make the distance."
What did Haynes do? He kicked it straight through the big sticks. To try and squeeze himself our of the situation he started asking Cometti about Haynes and his background (as if Haynes was a new player making his debut).
steve_rat had a go at the ABC commentators for the game, and 6PR were covering their advertisements with the Perth Glory game.
Am I going crazy?
