Society/Culture Can we please stop equating the risk posed by left wing extremists with that of right wing extremists?

No we haven't.

I made two points:

1) Men commit 700 percent more murders than women, and virtually all mass shootings and terrorist attacks in the USA are by men.

2) Men tend to vote Republican, and are doing so in greater numbers than ever before.

Both of those statements are objectively true. Which one don't you agree with?

There's a big difference between quoting stats and facts, and then going on to make statements like men are the real threat. I would feel uncomfortable making that kind of generalisation even about more specific groups let alone half the population.

Well the 'discussion' is not concentrated on Antifa or Nazi Hanson lovers is it. Y'know the thread subject.
Yes it’s a little off topic but, we do get those diversions from time to time.

Democrats are right wing, just not as far right as republicans.

Also, voting in US is not compulsory. Not all African Americans vote, so your numbers are wrong.

What criteria are you using to determine if a party is left or right leaning ?

Those stats are based on people who voted at the last presidential election.

Not all of them vote. For example, if only 50% of African Americans voted, then the 80% of those that did vote democrat, would only be 40% of African Americans.

So, most of the murderers, could be people that didn't vote at all.

Not claiming that all African Americans voted. However those stats I provided are a analysis of the people who voted at the last presidential election NOT a analysis of the general population.

While we don't have specific data on how criminals vote we do know that serious crime including homicide is more prevalent in low socio-economic areas, ethnic communities and in the inner city suburbs. These are all demographics that strongly lean Democrat.
