Why does everyone focus on Judd when ther are still great players in the midfield for WC?

I have to admit I am apprehensive on this game. For one, it's at the MCG and our first real game in Melbourne. I see a lot less pressure on Collingwood to win this one than the pressure on us to win. The expectations for us to win this is a test for us this season. We have a few things to prove as a team and winning in Melbourne is one of them.

Another is the fact that we are playing Collingwood and a win is due for them and a loss is due for us. Pessimistic true, but I thought Collingwood played well for 3 Quarters last week and were unlucky that a player such as Brown let loose. I thought Collingwood were turning the corner (just a touch mind you) and being a lot more competitive in that game. If they keep it up, a win is due.

However, I hope it is not this week. Losing Judd and maybe Braun to last week will hurt our midfield, but we do have great depth to fill those spots.

This is one bogey I hope to get over this year, and if we do I know a lot of other club's supporters will point and claim we were playing the bottom side. If we beat you guys, it's enough to keep me satified regardless of what anyone else says.

I think that this is a huge danger game for us, that been said I do beilieve that we will win, but now without a fight. A major reason why I think we will win is that Collingwood two weeks ago had the trip to subi, which takes a toal on any team, and then last week it was a tough game which may have drained some of your players slightly. All in all here's hpoing to a good game

But I can't see how the Pies can field a team good enough to match the Eagles at the moment.

I would love to see us win, as would anybody, but the fact that we have been written off, we do have a slight chance. Down here, weather unpredictable, should be a good match, but WC Eagles will win.

What the Pies have to look at if really shown up in the first half, is a moral victory. We need to go into the next week with a bit of confidence, and if we can do something against WC Eagles, it'll be good to see.

We can hold their forwards and our forwards might be able to kick a score with adequate supply but you would think we would get smashed in the ruck and midfield. WCE are hell of a lot better than Richmond in the midfield, even without Judd. It;s hard to see their forwards not getting enough opportunities to win them the game. We would need another Presti game from Presti while Wakelin and Clement need to play to their usual standard. After that is where we will struggle though. Up forward we'd need Tarrant to fire and a Cloke to play their best ever game.

Our Defenders wil be able to handle anything that the Pies have upfront which isnt much apart from Tarrant who isnt certain to play

My Prediction

Eagles to win by 27 Points.... Gone a bit lower then what i would like due to the fact its at the MCG and that we are playing the Pies and Mick usually pumps you guys up alot before a game as he is playing his old team and so on
