No it's not, it's complete bullshit.
I dont think so at all. I really dont think he would have played all those games at any other club.

He is used by goods now. time to move on and play a lennon.

Newy is a star. Is very well respected by others in the AFL. Gives his all every week
yup but he is past it now and time to move on. so was knights, although newy was no where near his class.

Newman was done last year and has gone a year to many , I think the sarcasm in this thread is directed towards the club who if were professional enough to encourage this could of used the money and spot on the list to keep White or other variables.

We all love Chris for sticking fat and being professional over the years and he was an honest toiler but we are in the business now of playing finals football and developing a premiership side. What's done is done but he should of called last year his final year and who knows where it would of ended such is the respect for the bloke. Now he's running around on one leg and holding up Kamdyn McIntosh's development in my opinion

staggered that he is even contemplating playing next year. club has to do the honourable thing by him and have some tough talks.
The players are wearing the pants is indicative by this message from Newman
I thought the club at the end of the season 2013 would have told Newman "this is your last one Chris", obviously not we let certain players rule the roost

indicative of the hardwick era, jobs for mate and indaequate ones at that.

Free country,You can say whatever kind of bullshit you can think of and repeat over and over and over again. But as been pointed out,We only deal with facts on here,so by all means can you come up with any factual evidence backing up your claim?
Who is Dimma's mates?

Wants to play on next year too

Well considering he's a club legend and a terrific bloke I think it's important that we show him some respect and sign him for as many years as he wants, it just makes sense to do this , let's not worry about his injuries or the form slumps he has had because they are irrelivant in professional sport when you have such a good bloke.

Banfield - just what we need, another terrible kick with no composure. Sorry we have enough of those types.
He was a ridiculously stupid pickup. Idiots running the recruiting. Complete and utter farking idiots.
Should've just taken Miles, Gordon and Lloyd and pickup some kids instead of Thomas, Banfields and Pettard.

Maybe the kids won't make it but at least they won't ruin culture

Geez mate no need to swear. My view is this, he has served the club well but if he wants to go out with dignity he should retire at the end of the year.
That way we can send him of well. If not the club, if it had a eye on the future would make the tough call, and personally I think dimma is close to him and a mate. so thats where i stand. Hardwick not tough enough or nuetral enough to make the tough call.

Thomas has been good IMHO hard at it, and no shirker. His first couple of games anyway, tho some of his clearances were deplorable later.
And Petterd try's his guts out, hardly ruining culture.

Well maybe we will see what happens at the end of the year, so at the moment that is just speculation that he wont stamp him gone.

cairo, you are using complete speculation to rubbish the club. I agree Chris should retire this year, but let's see what plays out before we find another reason to heap scorn on Dimma.

whose rubbishing the club, any knubskull can see we need to get youth into our list, any knubskull can see that there is no place for a player like him on our list next year.

You said
Hardwick not tough enough or neutral enough to make the tough call
The year hasn't finished yet, and the decision doesn't have to be made yet.
