The Kangaroos are playing above their level i think, and i believe we could beat them, but the emergence of petrie and macintosh may kill us as simmo is a bit rusty and we lack tall defenders. If we were to beat them we would want as many richmond supporters members or non members there to cheer them on. All indications from the media are giving me the feeling that the boys are real hungary to get on the winning end of a close game, any comments?

I reckon Richmond most certainly CAN win against the Kangaroos. They have just had their Archer 300th celebration, they sit 8-5 and may be thinking all is well with their little world. But they have in years gone by post Carey undone a lot of their good work by dropping games against lower rated opponents and they will take heed not to just go in thinking things might just happen for them. If Richmond run and get early possessions, and get a few in front early, the Roos might be in for a fight!

As long as we play the 'honest' brand of football we played against the Saints for most of the game, that means more to the club's development than anything. No passengers, no cheaters and think while they are playing, then I'll be happy.
(That's been my whole point about this BS 2011 target.....it may never happen......it could happen sooner than we think). We may be a show late 2008 or early 2009......who's to know?.....there is no time table. And youth could come to fruition quicker than we think. So setting youth policies for 5 years, or 50 - 100 games is all speculation. Every team and club progresses at different rates. There is no formula.

I just want to go to the footy now to watch Foley think and play in the heavy traffic that constitutes the midfield. You could build a whole side around his work ethic. What a find. That little guy could change the face of our club. He just goes about and does his job, at every contest in every game. Uses his brain.....uses his speed.....he has gears.....something Bling could learn. (And even Tivendale)

We've had cheating soft pea-hearts for so long at our club, that I was starting to forget how great 'workhorses' were to a club. Other clubs have them. Now we've got one.

Cheers
