I lived there last year and yes they do. But the weird part is in a lot of ways they are very very similar to Americans. I was in Toronto though, which is considered a bit too American by the rest of Canada. There is one good thing about Canada though:

Canadian girls>>>>>American girls.

I live with a Canadian girl from Toronto here is Edinburgh and she is definitely more "American" than other canadians I have met.

I have a close Canadian chick friend at school, she cops it a fair bit.

"Canadians are just Americans that can't say 'about' properly"
"Lame French-Americans"
"Hello Canadia"

etc.
