Canberra BigFooty Get Together

With Jenny in town this weekend, looking for somewhere to watch the game, I was wondering if any other Canberra Crows fans would be interested in having a BigFooty get together to watch the game?

I know there are a few of us around: Myself, Ferris Rules, Jenny (albeit down from Brisbane), probably one or two others.

The game will probably be shown on the big screen at the Ainslie Footy Club, starting at 7:30pm EST. Maybe we could meet up there for dinner beforehand?

I'd love to be able to put some names to faces on this board - right now there's only 1 board member I've ever met in person (and that was almost 20 years ago).

Hey Vader, didn't see this before now (as have limited access to internet where I am staying). I'd be happy to meet up - just have to check transport availability with my hosts. I'll keep looking on here to see if it's a goer.

Looks like just you and me at this stage. Still meeting you face-to-face will double the number of BF board members I know personally.

If it's just going to be the two of us, then my plan will change slightly. I'll aim to arrive at the club around 7:15, giving me time to grab a table, buy some drinks and order a pizza before the game commences.

I'll send you a PM with a description of myself, so we can find spot each other in the crowd.

Didn't end up happening. Jenny couldn't make it in the end, so I decided to watch the game in the comfort of my own home. Currently putting up with Tim Watson fawning all over Buddy Franklin during the half time break.
