Graham named captain.

The decision to overlook Trent Hodkinson for the Canterbury captaincy has raised further questions about the off-contract playmaker's future at the club.

The Bulldogs officially announced Great Britain international James Graham will replace Michael Ennis as Canterbury captain for its 2015 campaign at its season launch at Curzon Hall on Tuesday night.

Poor start to the year... Injuries/suspensions/ Origin has hammered us this year YET we are somehow 8th! We definitely have the team to make a run!!

The Dogs also seem seem to have gone to a much more attacking and adventurous (relatively speaking) brand of footy in recent weeks, too. And it's working for them.

Awesome performance last night.. The forwards ran hard and straight and completely dominated the ruck. Josh and Moses look like a fantastic halves combo.

I'm sensing a big year from the Doggies:thumbsu:
Will be something special if we make finals after losing Hodkinson now Brett Morris for four months but a great start. Go Doggies.

Watching these guys this year, they need to either re-do their rosters or do something with their attack.

They only have one way to beat teams and that is make/hope the other side play like absolute sh*te.

Following on from Mal Meninga's greatest Raiders team of all time I thought I would have a go at naming my best Bulldogs team from my time of following the game (circa 1978).

Greg Brentnall
Steve Gearin
Chris Mortimer
Peter Mortimer
Hazem El Masri
Terry Lamb
Steve Mortimer
Paul Langmack
James Graham
Steve Price
Dean Pay
George Peponis
Peter Tunks

Reserves:

Andrew Farrar
Craig Polla-Mounter
Steve Folkes
Darren Britt

Dominated by players from the 80s but it shows how great that team was. Could easily replace Britt with Peter Kelly too. Premiership in 80, 84, 85 and 88. Man it was glorious being a Bulldogs and Bombers fan in the 80s.
