Is there anywhere online or elsewhere where you can find out the rate of capital gain on properties in certain suburbs? Say over the last 5 or 10 years?

I just need to compare a couple of suburbs here in Adelaide.

I think he means capital growth.

and your local real estate institute will have the figures, not sure if you have to subscribe though. (Tassie is REIT, so i presume adelaide would be under REIS? go to the REIA site, and follow links from there)

Residex does it and RP Data. But you have to pay for it. Go look up SA's REI and see if they have anything. The Sunday Advertiser probably hauls this one (Adelaide's growth rates) out every six months or so - see if you can find it archived.

Below is house prices in the past. Can't say how it is in specific suburbs. I don't know.
