After being woken up at 4am again by the sound of torrential rain (yes- and it took me a while to remember what the sound was like), I would suggest to those of us (me included) who are considering any of the Doggies to have a day out against the Dees, that their day out will most likely be rather soggy, if not a downright mudpit.
Not the most condusive conditions for big SC scoring as a rule I supsect?
Just a thought.

I'm giong to stick with the ever reliable Cross, expected light rain in the morning Saturday in both Melbourne and Adelaide. More likely to effect a ruckman like Cox opposed to a rover like Cross. Although saying that it may not even rain.

This is the sort of thinking that I tend to forget and overlook when choosing a captain.

There are showers forecast tomorrow in Adelaide and could affect Cox, there are possible thunderstorms tonight in Brisbane and could affect Browny. And judging by the weather here in Victoria it could be wet all weekend.

The Cornes boys are playing Sydney, and Chad has Goodes in his back pocket all day according to Roos, so they're out for me.

Better to get an in and under player, like Cross as you say AV. Jimmy Bartel will almost guarantee you 130+ in wet conditions, but unfortunately they are playing my mob indoors this week.

A rule I have followed for the past year or 2 with the Geelong boys is that Jimmy scores his best at Skilled and Corey does his best work at TD. Its not always spot on but as a general rule it hasnt really let me down.

Corey for me this week! :thumbsu:

go with jonno bron this week against nathan brown or go with montagna under cover v blues at the dome where it could rain in brisbane??

Im tossing up between Dean Cox, Chad Cornes, Jonathan Brown, Joel Corey or Daniel Cross.

Cross wouldnt normally be, but Dogs are playing Melbourne, and i think we could see some big scores stat wise.

Chad Cornes is a bit risky, not only are they playing the Swans, but Roosy hinted that Adam Goodes might play on him directly.

Joel Corey is playing against Essendon, and i think their midfield battle could be tightly contested.

Not sure about the others.

My sarcasm is lost on you mortal. :p
You need to use a different emoticon if you are trying to portray sarcasm!

Anyway, wasn't it you asking me once to quit the one liners and offer some advice!

Yeah but you know how it is.

Who's ya captain SJ?

I want to go with Coxy but I like the look of Riewoldt against the Blues. Cross looms as a smokey against the Demons.

Almost got swept up in the Big Cox mania earlier in the week but again going with my man Nicky R. Went one of Pavlich, Chad Cornes or Riewoldt every round last year and they never let me down - have all three again this year. Riewoldt is probably my favourite SuperCoacher, nothing better than locking him in as skipper and watch him dominate under the Dome. Cross for my vice too.

Ah damn you.

Right now i'm tossing up between Coxy and Roo.

Cox has averaged 25 possessions a game against Adelaide in the last three encounters and on top of that he's going up against 2 jabronies in the ruck. However its going to rain.

Roo should have a field day with the ball likely to spend 99% of the time in the Saint's attacking half. However Waite has been able to do the job on him before.

Get over this jabroni shit Spartan. not even funny. Wrestling is gay as.
Just overblown american crap that ruins tv.

Really? Isn't wrestling real? Here I thought people can write what they want when they want on a forum and have a bit of fun.

If I wanted to hear from an arseh*le I would have farted. :thumbsu:

yeah you seem to fill this forum up alot though

I'm an SC junkie. I think you'll find that for a odd joke that I crack I've provided some thought out advice as well. However being a newb myself I'll call it an opinion as opposed to advice.

If you don't like it I suggest you skim over the posts with "Spartan" in the left hand column. :thumbsu:
