Great to hear about Simmo thinking he is a leader of the club. He really stepped up last year when there really was nobody else.

I would like to see Stevo as Captain and Simmo as Vice but I have a feeling that Juddy will get the nod as Captain with Stevo as Vice.

Speaking of Simmo, does anybody know how his pre-season is going?

Geez, Bear must have been going at a cracking pace to get there in less than 10 minutes. At least it gives something for Judd to chase.

By the way HBF - You should change your Avatar - I'm going blind looking at those damn legs - We had a saying in Brisbane - Waterworks, Because Waterworks Road goes all the way to the The Gap (a suburb) (hopefully that all makes sense)
 
i dont think judd should get the job, he has not even played a game 4 us yet, and i dont think he wants it anyway...
imo murphy should get the job, he is going to be a gun, and he is going to learn off the best mid (judd) in the comp... plus we are such a young side, we got a young coach, why not have a very young captain that will lead us 4 the next 10 years... does anyone eles share this view?

heis presence will help inspirer all your team to step up and make that extra effort to play better etc etc .

agree with above post on the captains job though , give to one of your leadership group if not one of the others who you think will do the job have Judd in leadership group as he can still help in that area etc etc but not as captain
 
My choice would be Captain = Judd, Vice Captains = Stevens, Simpson, and Waite
Obviously, if Judd doesn't want it, then give it to someone else, my next preference being Kade Simpson
For those who are saying Judd shouldn't get the captaincy because he hasn't played a game yet, remember by the time round 1 comes he would have spent a couple of months training with us. And if you've been reading the training reports and media articles, he's clearly acting like a leader. He's helping the boys out at training, and the boys look up to him. If he wants it, then I hope he gets it. Our kids can learn a lot from him i reckon

Bryce did it for me prior to his pre-season. Definately something about this kid :) :cool:

Ahh, yeah, about that, turns out it was true_blue_69 who said it about Judd:).
