Lol, u say it like hes a 18 year old kid who hasnt played a game. the blokes resume is a mile long.

And Richmond is the definition of struggling.
 
He may not be my preffered captain, but the fact of the matter he is our captain, and I feel bloody priveliged to have someone of his calibur leading Carlton:thumbsu:.

How the hell did Kane Johnson get appointed Captain at Richmond. He was carried at Adelaide! Did you see him running around the other night he looked like he was in slow motion...

Right decision for Judd to get the gong, the best player and captain in the league deserves to be the captain of whatever club he lobs at, even if he hasnt played a game there. He has been there since the start of pre season and thats good enough for me!!

Just shows you how bad Carltons leadership is.

Last year it was a fat bloke who couldn't get a kick & a rookie into the leadership group. Now its a guy who hasn't played a game for you and won't play one until round 4.

It says to me that the club voted on who they thought was the best man to lead the club. Obviously you're seeing something we all are not, but then again, you are a Richmond supporter.

The choice for Judd to be captain has nothing to do with our leadership being bad or whatever. Our boys chose who they wanted, simple as that.

Just bloody learn to accept it.

I tried to pin a Captain Carlton badge to my Juddy doll, now it's deflated... :-(

It says we have the best player in the land and hes on our list and you can sit there waiting for KB and others to come through with his coming to Richmond, but he aint.

I for one was not somebody wanting Judd as captain> However I am pleased that finally a decision has been made. Congrats to Judd and Stevo. I hope both play 22 games this season and set shining examples to the kiddies!

Agree Thrawn. The 2 should hold the positions for many years to come and I can not believe that now the decision has been made that anyone could not support either. It is another piece in place. Lets now concentrate on the job at hand and pray both have productive unspoilt years and carreers on top of their already high achievments

Brass arse was named Captain/Coach of the blues in 1965 after crossing straight over from Melbourne.

3 year later, Carlton started on the most successful run of premierships ever.

We have a brand new coach with a new game plan and an established very experienced and skilled captain with a damned good record of leadership...

Of course it says something... it says we want to succeed... so piss off and cry over how crap Bitchmond are :)

Dramoth you forget we should listen to Richmond fans. Their team has been so successful with so many recent premierships. And lets not forget all those Brownlows, Colemans etc they have picked up. They have the runs on the board and Wallce has that 5 year plan working so very well. I agree with the bloke. Lets fire Judd now and trade him to the Tigers for 2 beers and a chinese meal. After all there is nothing else from the Tiges worth anything.

Make Egan, Bryan and Toovey your Captains if having played a game in Collingwood colours is your criteria. ;)

You need to accept that he's miles better than anyone on your list and he joined Carlton because of Greg Swann.

But you have the Irish Judd. :rolleyes:

It goes without saying Judd wouldn't be Captain of Collingwood ahead of good ordinary players such as Lockyer, Maxwell, Burns and Fraser. :o

We are Carlton. It's not about making Stevo happy, giving Simpson a go etc. We want the best - and thats Judd. Carlton don't get sucked in or make soft decisions or appointing several captains. The best man Captains the club (Judd). The second best is Vice Captain (Stevo). Done. Go Blues! :thumbsu:
 
Congrats to Judd. Interesting reading about the co-captains part on the AFL website. Wanted to go with tradition, which imo is more than fair enough.

Would EASILY be captaining Collingwood or Richmond if he went to either of those clubs.
