What sums him up perfectly is going back to help the backline.

Great engine and superb skills.

I doubt it, IMV most expected he would become the Captain he so clearly is, of course there will always be some who never noticed his leadership skills but I just assumed they were never looking hard enough.
To me he has always been a natural leader, right from his first game when he stripped the ball out of Paul Williams hands.
He was in effect saying "follow me, I'll show you how to do it" just like all leaders do.

Most said Pendles but with a hesitation. That hesitation is because he never had that same captain aura that Maxwell does. And he still doesn't compared to Maxwell although has gotten stronger.

Daisy being the gutless flog he is gives Luke "Classiest Bloke On The Field" Ball a shove as he tries to get up, and our Captain Fantastic comes along and puts him on the ass like a child.

I just cant stop watching this. Its mesmerising. I keep coming back to this thread, to watch it over and over and over again...Pendles' disdain for Daisy is palpable.
