I know we don't have footy and things look bleak at the moment so I felt like starting a feel good thread which could bring joy to people. Our captain David Swallow has played 140 AFL games for us and is just 10 games shy of life membership (at the age of 27!). Presuming we eventually get to play out the rest of the 2020 season, Dave will become just the third player and sixth person ever to be bestowed the honour after Michael Rischitelli (2019), Jarrod Harbrow (2018), Alan McKenzie (2018), Bob Gordon (2016) and John Witheriff (2016).
Everyone knows Dave is the heart and soul of this club and I don't think there will be a more deserving recipient when the day comes
