Tex and Lynch were ahead of him. Porps wrongly in front of him.

Riiggghhtt.. so why then has he only played 1 game, while the rest of them have played around 50 in the same time?Tex and Lynch were ahead of him. Porps wrongly in front of him.

Feel free to admit that you're wrong.. it's not as painful as it seems.

Since when were McKernan and Jenkins comparable players to LJ?
I know the reason, and I've told you it; his attitude is shit house, has a huge opinion of himself.
Hopefully aiof is right about him waking up to himself.

7th worst sounds about right. Still leaves 1/3 of the team as being worse than him.. in what was easily his worst game in well over a month.
Garbage.. he wasn't even remotely close to our worst last night.
As a mod practising what you preach would be handy, so care to explain your change of heart after 8 minutes regarding Van Berlo?Riiggghhtt.. so why then has he only played 1 game, while the rest of them have played around 50 in the same time?

No argument. I'd be interested to see how many others are having their worst seasons in a long time.I didnt revive this thread because of one game though. Statistically VBs entire season is his worst since he was a 20 year old kid with 30 games under his belt.
Maybe.. maybe not. Would have taken a complete reversal of form by the selectors for this to come true. He had good SANFL form last year (better than his 2013 form) and they ignored him then. Walker's injury is the only variable to have changed since then (and he missed large chunks of 2012 through suspension).Johnston was unlucky to get injured when he did. He would have gotten some games this year, SANFL form has been good too. I hope he gets a run in the latter part of the season. I'm sick of speculating. If he's no good, I can live with that but can we at least give him a few games?
I cannot think currently or recent past, a hard tagger being assigned the role of captain of their club.

I think it will be very informative to see if he gets selected on Thursday night. If not, then I think we can draw some fairly obvious conclusions.
That excuse just doesn't hold water. Tiprat missed a heap of games due to concussion. Walker missed a heap due to suspension. McKernan, JJ & Lynch played 23 games between them as a result. LJ played 1.They ignored him last year because we had Tippett and Walker.
Fair Dinkum. Do you even know what colours the Crows wear?
Quite simply, the selectors don't seem to think he's good enough to play AFL football. They see him perform at training (and his performances in the SANFL) and they seem to think that he's lacking.Vader could you or others explain the logic of not selecting LJ. I have tried to follow his career in the SANFL and it suggests he could play AFL well.
Im hoping the club gives him a solid run. That way it will be nice to enter 2014 with forwards being fit and available and importantly that can score.
Imagine a player like JJ or Lynch getting the 3rd or 4th best defender.
.
I'd like to see him given a go in the last few weeks of the season - even if it's just so that we can know what it is that we're delisting at year's end. Selecting him though would require the AFC selectors to undergo a complete reversal of policy where this particular player is concerned.

... Because Tex and Lynch and Porps are in front of him, like I said?
The first time he genuinely had an opportunity; this year; he was injured.
Jenkins and SMcK aren't comparable players, so mentioning them is irrelevant.
It's not that hard to figure out.
And Smack.. and JJ and.. well, pretty much everyone else except for Joyce.... Because Tex and Lynch and Porps are in front of him, like I said?
He wasn't available for R1-5? If they wanted to give him an opportunity then they would have. They could have done so at any time (pre-injury). How many other players have been given opportunities in the last 18 months? The first time he genuinely had an opportunity; this year; he was injured.
Garbage. Just like LJ they are KPP forwards first and foremost. With Smack in the side JJ is barely doing any ruck work at all and Smack wouldn't be in the side at all if Walker (a pure forward) wasn't injured. These players (plus Lynch & Porps) are all fighting for the same position. When it comes to selection, LJ is a very, very, very distant last.Jenkins and SMcK aren't comparable players, so mentioning them is irrelevant.
