I've held back from posting on this thread in the past, but VB has shown beyond doubt today that he is completely incompetent, not only as an AFL captain, but as an AFL midfielder.

Personally, I will not be renewing my membership if he is still captain next year. I'm not usually one for taking stands like this, but the club has taken the piss out of us enough by keeping Trigg in a job. I refuse to put up with another ridiculous appointment.

10 touches at 20% DE with 3 clangers and 2 free's against to half time, so proud of our captain, leading from the front... :(

Dont forget being directly responsible for the first 4 Geelong Goals.

Thats right the first 4.
Misses a tackle on Caddy who then kicks it from 40.
Selwood kicks 2 on him.
Lets Motlop get goal side at a ball up runs free and kicks the goal.

I think that this is probably the best VB has played for the year, in the second half, needs to do it for 4 quarters though week in week out.

Even bassett said it today before the game, said his hands are poor and his kicking is terrible, the only thing going for him is his endurance, but even that is not showing up.

Bit of an exaggeration. He said he had Poor in both categories. Not terrible

Second half was good. But that is what is expected every week. It wasnt outstanding for a player of his standing i didnt think

Pretty sure he used words worse than poor, it was in the pre match. And if we have to split between poor and terrible for describing our captains skills that in its self is terrible.

Got it, yes! That's the best captain's goal you'll ever see my friend. Big Nathan van Berlo with a reflex snap at AAMI Stadium and the crowd's gone wild, the Crows team's gone wild. It's a great day for Adelaide, it's a great day for Australia, it's a great day for the world and it's a great day for the great man, Nathan van Berlo!

Geez, STO. Would ya settle down?

No I won't. **** you, **** the rain, **** Geelong... VB! VB! VB! I love him, I wanna boof him, get him up here!

Thought he and Vince really tried to do a number physically on Selwood today which was good to see.

Must admit I liked seeing that to. Nothing too out of the rules that I remember but enough that he's going to feel it all game. I often feel we're too nice and fair towards the oppositions best, when compared to how Dangerfield gets a big bump or thrown into the ground after many of his posessions for example.

He was a useless, clumsy, no-skill **** for most of the day. Kicked a goal late. That and the emotion of the win might gloss over the fact that he was utter garbage for some, but he still was. Add his cumbersome tackling technique to the long list of weaknesses that make him one of the biggest **** ups in the comp.

He showed us what he does when a season is on the line last week. Today his lottery ping at goal showed us if you throw enough shit at a wall and take the pressure off, some'll stick.
