AFL 2019 FIXTURE - Primetime and special event games

Adelaide Crows: Five (two Thursday nights, three Friday nights)
Brisbane Lions: One (Thursday night)
Carlton: One (Thursday night)
Collingwood: 11 (two Thursday nights, seven Friday nights, Anzac Day, Queen’s Birthday)
Essendon: Eight (two Thursday nights, four Friday nights, Good Friday, Anzac Day)
Fremantle: Nil
Geelong Cats: Four (one Thursday night, three Friday nights)
Gold Coast Suns: Nil
GWS Giants: Two (one Thursday night, one Friday night)
Hawthorn: Five (five Friday nights)
Melbourne: Six (one Thursday night, three Friday nights, Anzac Eve, Queen’s Birthday)
North Melbourne: Four (three Friday nights, Good Friday)
Port Adelaide: Three (two Friday nights, Good Friday)
Richmond: Seven (three Thursday nights, three Friday nights, Anzac Eve)
St Kilda: Nil
Sydney Swans: Six (one Thursday night, five Friday nights)
West Coast Eagles: Four (one Thursday night, two Friday nights, Good Friday)
Western Bulldogs: One (Friday night)

So by the loks of it, Tigers/Pies/Bombers players are best for VC loopholes.

Note that there's also a Wednesday night game in round 6 (double-partial lockout that week) with Richmond vs. Melbourne. So add Melbourne to that list and bump Richmond up one more as well!

But you need a non playing player. Shouldn't be many available, possibly Flynn or Fort as ppls R4 and even those 2 are a slight chance of getting a game.

I'd prefer a full board of green dots.
Wait, do we have green dots this year?
Let me guess, they've forgotten them. ;)

Yep, I'm planning to Ruck 2 on the bench as emergency and a non-playing ruck rookie on field and give them the captaincy. ;) Does backfire if my other ruck goes down but oh well.

West Coast win the Grand Final and only have the same number as North Melbourne? Less than Sydney and Hawks who are predicted to slide... okay ive known this for months but it still gets right up me!

-laughs in VFL-

On a serious note it is quite a joke.

My App has doubled the VC score..
Does it know my captain (Macrae) won't play or is it assuming I'll loophole. Crae still on field, still C.

Weird if they double the VC score, then revert to normal score once captain plays.

no vc double here

Anyone else considering taking Newman’s 115 VC score? It’s probaly a little below par given I think Danger could easily go 125+ tonight. Having said that, it seems silly risking an injury or sub-par score from Danger just to chase an extra 10 or 15 points. Bit torn.

I don't think many on here have Newman let alone the VC on him

Fair. Would you take 115 if you had it? It’s that awkward in-between sort of score if you’re talking captains.

Well, this didn't happen. ☹️

At least he didn't completely spud up though, like Oliver or Grundy, I can live with 200.

Yeah look for a while there I didn't even think he'd make it to 100. But Melbourne played absolutely terribly so I'm hoping if they improve so will he.

Macrae again for me next week, against the Hawks.
Sloane 144, M.Crouch 132 against them in Rd 1 suggests they are vulnerable here.

Maybe those thinking about trading out Dunkley should think again
