I've gone Adams as the potential VC loophole with Danger the C.

Wouldn't it be funny if everyone had Adams/Treloar/Dusty VC, they all go huge
everyone puts D Cameron on field with the C then he's named as a late in and scores 12

Hey guys hopefully someone can explain this to me. From what i know fantasy takes the lowest scoring emergency in case u have more than one. So last week if i vc dusty then captained darcy cameron on field and put emergency on stefan martin. I also had swallow and hibberd as the emergency. Swallow didnt play so i would have got martins captain score but then only hibberds score as it was he lower of stefan martin and hibberds. Does that make sense

you have 4 emergencies in fantasy, typically one for each position that replaces a donut (0 scoring player) in that postion, so i guess it would be uncommon for 2 emergencies to be selected from the same position.

Wow man im such a goose. For some reason i only thought 1 emergency would be counted and if u had more out in other positions tough luck. Arrgg im still learning the rules. Tyvm vstone for the reaponse

Had a look at previous years Treloar v Rich, Treloar at MCG, Treloar round 2.. Felt right.

Adams still scoring ok for my backline.

Yeah i did the same. But given some of my league matchups i knew they were going to have adams as loophole vc based on past matchups. I figured the sheep move was a protection thing.

Worst case i was always planning to put c on danger

Had the VC on Adams but I won't be taking his 99, I'll stick with Danger.

I think picking Adams over Treloar might be a blessing in disguise. I can see Danger going 160 this weekend

They always do an after game countback. It happens fairly regularly that a players numbers go up or down afterwards

Should've stuck on my gut with grundy but picked Adams due to his massive 151 last week oh well still undecided on zerrett or danger will decided by lockout

For those using the VC loophole are people selecting 2 emergencies in the line of your 'non-playing captain' just in case there is a late withdrawal?

At least he scored more than last weeks 17. This week (for some reason) they upped his break even to 39. Beat it anyway so finally nets you some $.
