Of course if media will naturally ask the question "what will you do to stop Tom Mitchell after his 50-possession game last week?", and coaches feel obliged to talk tough. Can't see a genuine tagger in the Dogs team who can run with Mitchell though.

Ah I can see how this will unfold. Will pick Laird as VC and he’ll score 130. I’ll take that score as C because Titch may be ‘tagged’. Titch will then proceed to run around on his own the whole game and pif it up from the first bounce. Instead of enjoying this piggery I will be cursing him everytime he touches the ball. Thursday loopholes can piss off

I would try to keep it simple. Mitchell averages ~125 in 2017 and 2018, therefore over 125 is a keep, under 125 is not. Two weeks ago that was a tough decision for Lloyd (right on the 125 target) v Mitch (195), but last week would have gained you points for taking Selwood.

He does, but against GC struggled a few weeks back. I expect 130. So 125+ I would keep, under 125 probably worth rolling the dice.

Round 14 - VC Yeo got 117, backed in Titch, he got 84
Round 15 - took Lloyd's VC score of 125, Titch got 195
Round 16 - VC Lloyd got 112, backed in Titch, he got 96

The only time I got it right was in Round 13 when my VC Macrae went down with a hammy - I wouldn't call that a win either.

I can't wait for these Thursdays to end. I'll be VCing Crouch but tempted to C Gawn over the Dogs. I will inevitably stick with Titch though

I just can’t go against Titch again and it’s annoying. If I got to C his 195 I probably would be more open to captaining someone else this week but I just cannot miss another 180+ score if he does do it again. The number of times Titch has gone under 100 is shocking for a regular captain pick. Wish I had the strength to go Gawn or Zach/Devon as a POD
