Was thinking of Bray too haha. I think he can get 140, will never get any attention like Oliver. Grundy is safe for a 120+ as well. I don’t think I’m strong enough to go against Titch tough. I was really scarred when I missed out on captaining his 190 score.

I'm in the same boat. I want to take the punt and just go with Grundy due to Titch likely getting a lot of attention, but after Gaff's gaffe and Titch's 160, I just can't do it again. It's too painful to watch

A smoky for me is Whitfield.
His last month has been unreal and with Shiel and Taranto missing he could play further up the ground, still feasting on +6's against the blues.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him go 150 again but don't have the balls to lock him in though.

I'm in a good position to win this week so I'm not risking it, keeping Titch C which my opponent currently has as well. He can take the risk if need be.

Plus, I have that promise to never doubt Titch again, I'm not missing another pig score (at least this year...).

hey guys. i know there's a ultimate footy forum but im more needing advice on my captain this week and we use afl fantasy point scoring system.

im in a prelim and with no gaff ive had to change up my captain option. my mids to choose from are

crouch vs nth
coniglio vs syd
sidebottom vs port

but im thinking to i take a risk and go hawkins vs freo? or do i save that risk for the last round if i make it when geel play gc at home and are potentially chasing %

Okay so the million dollar question this week- does Hewitt tag Titch and if so, are we looking at a 100 instead of 130? Because that could be the difference in some league grand finals.

Crouch v Carlton & Grundy v Freo both tempting for me as both would be fairly safe for a 100 with strong potential to go 130+.

I’ve got all the Geelong mids (Ablett, Danger, Duncan, Menegola) vs Gold Coast but don’t like my chances of picking the monster score. There will be at least one though surely.

I think we could be looking at a 70 to be honest. Hewett may be the best tagger besides Jacobs in the comp and kept him to 58 last time. Hutchings is pretty damn good too. To hold Cogs to 16 points in the second half and pretty much blanket him was impressive. Hutchings likewise on Oliver today. Seeing as it's the last round, I'm probably gonna bite the bullet and trade him out and put the C on Grundy, Crouch or someone I bring in like Hawkins. Won't know til Thursday at least haha

Yep Titch is gone for me, and Grundy the likely C option.

Just that would have won me my prelim too damn it.
Sucks having a full side (Wingard the weak point) and losing to someone still fielding a rookie. Wingard & Zorko my disappointments.

I expect Hawkins to get the around the same this week, 110-120.
I can see Banfield going to Sidebottom for periods of the game (like he did Joel Selwood on the weekend), 100-115

I’m thinking of trading one or both in and maybe captaining, though probably go Grundy.

Captain on Grundy. Should get a couple of 40-50 pt quarters at least, so I can't see him scoring any less than 130-140.

I traded Dusty to Seb Ross.. Great scoring history at Etihad.

Only issue is players getting a bit more time on the bench if games are iced and basically dead rubbers. (Coll/Freo, Geel/GC)

If Ess beat Port on Friday night Geelong are in the 8 even if they get belted by gold coast (which won't happen) If port win, Geelong just need the 4pts, so does Ablett get a few less mins on field if their game is over? Likely.

I think Collingwood won't let up on Freo with top 2 a chance and top 4 a fight out.
