Means i'm averaging 262 (131) for my captain.. not a bad start to the season on that front. All the VC's definitely help though.

Only two times my captain could have been someone better, only a total of 94 points down on the whole year on potential captain choices.
Ok so going to take Grundy VC score, only players can use it on is Fort and Cameron who both have been named as a EMG. there hasn't been any rumours about a late out to either of there teams has there.

Cameron is named in the NEAFL, with Ronke the standby EMG
Geelong VFL have the bye, so Fort would be more of a chance of a late in.

With no VC loop opportunity this week, it's gonna be a tough week to decide who captains my team. The big two ruckman (who I'd usually bank for a safe 105) have tough opponents. Macrae and MCrouch have easy matchups in Tigers and Freo but their form puts me off. I think Danger v Essendon is the only guy I'm confident in to post 110+.

Tom Mitchell being out for the year definitely makes captain selections and research relevant again. This week I imagine will be the most even spread over a wide variety of players in years. Usually there is 1 standout each week but Round 7 is bloody tricky!

I’m tempted to go Rocky simply for the law of averages. He’s due for a big one, and historically scores well at Etihad.
I’m tempted to completely rouge and pick Taranto against Saints.......
