At a guess 70% of members wouldn't even know he is linked to us so why change that?

Come on mate there’s still more charges he’s facing (apparently). There’s a suppression order for a reason and I’d rather those people get justice over footy fans who want a symbolic statement from the club. Laws of the land apply here, not some imaginary friend for adults society in Rome.

Pretty sure he was giving an example of the type of simple announcement the club could make

I think the club is in a pretty tough spot though as most people wouldn't even be aware that he's associated with the club.
By coming out with a very public announcement during a time where his name is already in the news, it will just bring negative attention to the club
