Carey for Carlton?

What do you Blues fans out there think of this...taken from Ninemsn sports news tonight out of an article about Rocket Eade's future at Sydney...

"But last week Carey informed the Kangaroos that the Swans were one of the clubs of his choice if he was to play on next season.

The former Roos captain told Kangaroos chief executive Geoff Walsh that his preference next season was with either Carlton, Collingwood or Sydney, with Adelaide or Port Adelaide his fall-back positions."

Er, thanks but no thanks. I do not want him to come to Carlton to play a couple of injury riddled years while we pay him heaps of money. Great player that he was, those days are probably behind him and we have a CHF.

And after a one year lay off ..... Could get ugly. I might consider him if I was three parts cut, we picked him up the same way the Swans took Lockett back, if the draft offered nothing else and if he was on a performance based contract. Favourite sons generally don't play with heart for another club.
