CROWS!!!
I was watching sport on 10 news and they say that Carey will almost deffinately be playing this weekend....Im a bit surprised, i thought Carey looked a but slow on Saturday like he was battling with an injury or something....

Oh yeah and Biglands was interviewed!!! YAYAYAY :) :D

Heard Biglands talking on 5AA tonight and he said

Burton and Bode will miss

Carey and Stevens will play.

They queried him on Carey and he insisted that he WILL play.

We'll find out soon if the big fellow is really in the know or not.

Was it just me or did anyone else think Stevo looked well below 100% fitness wise. Reckon he was struggling with his back again. He is more important than Carey & it is a real concern if he is carrying an injury.

Stevo always carries a bit of a back injury, but his current problem is that bruised knee he got 2 or 3 weeks back.

He struggled with both injuries on Saturday.

Even in round 1 I tought both Stevo and Carey looked a bit sus. Stevo seems to be troubled by his knee, the one he jarred against Pies in the Wok Cup final. Both of them look sus to me at the moment.

I also heard Biglands interview on 5AA. As macca said Burton and Bode will definetly NOT play and Stevo and Carey will. Cornesy asked him about Ricciuto not really playing well, whether he is played in the wrong position or not, and Biglands' answer was a classic, "You are asking me all this tough questions, if I talk about our captain I'll play at Port Districts FC this week":D I imidiatly tought we would be in trouble and would have to rely on Ben Marsh!!!!!

Riciutto is not a wingman and shouldn't be playing there.

In the guts or up forward, but not as a wingman.

The best of K.G and Cornesy on the weekend might replay it or keep ringing them and they will be forced to replay it later in the week.:)

For Sure. Roo should be playing in the middle resting at full-forward or a pocket with his lack of conditioning. We have plenty of guys who can play on a wing.

I agree totally. Throw him in the guts or play him up forward. If he is struggling for touch, he can play as a half back flanker where he has played in the past when out of form. ATM I don't think he is match fit to play in the guts. Play him as a HF flanker or this week in Sydney as a CHF. At the SCG you don't really need a tall CHF cos the ground is small and the ball just keeps going over the head of CHF.

My boy is struggling with his bruised knee. I had a chat with him yesterday and he assures me it is ok, and he did actually train today - but it will depend on how he trains/pulls up after Wednesdays main session. I don't think his back is an issue - mind you he gets so many knees and players jumping into him it wouldn't suprise me!

Definitely CHF for the Roo this week if I was picking the team for all of the reasons you have already stated Stiffy.

Great minds think alike!!!!:D

I think it might not be a good idea to go with 3 tall forwards this week, because the size of SCG. The forward line might be a bit too crowded.
