Chris Judd, last year, played his best two games for the season, against your mob, and stunning games they were. Yet some of you 'Woods fans, still think, there is some "name factor" associated with the way BF posters rate him.

Bullshit, Chris Judd is clearly the top two midfielders in either of our teams. Simple.

Didak's output pales in comparison to that of Murphy and Judd, and is more comparable to the Gibblet, but they play different roles, and Didak isn't, and never has really been strictly a midfielder.

Key words = LAST YEAR. He is being rated THIS year more on reputation than output. He's still been very good, but nowhere near what his reputation would suggest. And no, Didak's output when playing is easily on par with both of them. He's had a couple of down games like everyone has [except Dane Swan], but there was a period where he was - in my view - the best performing player in the competition.

Pendlebury is better then Murphy and Gibbs, two weeks ago proved that. Murphy and Gibbs spent all night turning it over when under pressure, whilst Pendlebury was sublime with his disposal.

That was one of our worst games of the year. You obviously have forgotten the game earlier in the year.
We looked superior to Geelongs midfield tonight but I would not start to say we have a better midfield than them because of 1 game.
Looking at the whole season I think we are better than you scum and hope we play each other next month and get a chance to prove it.

Going by this year id rate them in order of:

1. Swan
2. Judd
3. Davis
4. Pendlebury
5. Murphy
6. Didak
7. Gibbs
8. Simpson
9. O'bree
10. Stevens

generally agree with your list but dont know if it is a clear cut as that. More likely to group them together.

1. Swan/Judd
2. Davis/Pendlebury/Murphy
3. Didak/Gibbs
4. Simpson/Obree/Stevens

Collingwood has a much more even spread if talent and has a lot more depth. They would currently be the second best midfield only behind St Kilda. They don't rely on one or two to carry the rest and have a lot more flash and flair.


I always die a little inside when handing out compliments to one of these teams, but Collingwood and looking a real class outfit right now. Timing is looking real good, but a possibility they are peaking a tad to early.

Judd and Swan both outstanding and both playing at their best, cant separate these two outstanding players.

Second tier also very close, IMO only slightly favoring Collingwood.

On the day either could take the honors as both highly competent.

Whilst I think the Blues as a team are a little underrated, Collingwood no doubt are a quality team, stronger at both ends, and as a result gives their midfield slightly better outcomes.

Collingwood by a whisker but the Blues close.

Very even midfield cant really split them two of the best in the league. Two good ruckmen as well in Jolly and Kreuzer (hopefully they are back in form soon).
