Haven't seen this mentioned in the last few days, but the draw for the 3rd round of the Carling Cup has just come out. A few tasty ties here anyway.

Bristol City v Southampton
Everton v Charlton
Nottm Forest v Portsmouth
Blackburn Rovers v Liverpool (This one was always going to happen)
Bolton v Gillingham
Wigan v Middlesbrough
Wolves v Burnley
Blackpool v Crystal Palace
Chelsea v Notts County
QPR v Manchester City
Reading v Huddersfield
Aston Villa v Leicester
Tottenham v West Ham

Arsenal v Rotherham
Newcastle v West Brom
Leeds v Manchester United

Games to be played in the week commencing October 27.

Can see these premiership sides struggling against tricky opposition. Soton less so...

QPR away is not the easiest of draws for City but Loftus Rd holds few fears for us, good record there of late.

If the premiership sides above don't take the comp seriously then they'll be making early exits.

While Leeds don't look likely to beat anyone soon, Man Yoo won't enjoy a trip to Elland Rd so early in the tournament.

Um, I meant the reserves would come out at half-time.

You get the pitch to yourselves for the first half.

Yeah, yeah.....I know this will come back to bite me on the arse after Leeds win 1-0 with an own goal from Rio Ferdinand
