Anything is possible this year IMO.

We have a bunch of talented kids and a bunch of 50 to 100 gamers who are ready to take the next step.

The best player in the league is one of us. An idol to probably 70% (probably more) of our list. Our best midfielder prior to Juddy is coming back from a near career ending injury. The kids love Stevo and I know this because I have seen and heard direct from the horses mouth how much respect they have for him (I don't know who feeds you information The Heatley Stand but it's utter crap!)

The simple fact of the matter is... we don't know the impact that Judd and Stevo into the side will have on the entire team and we definately cannot underestimate it! Not only is it an injection of class but more importantly it's an injection of experience, something we have lacked for a very long time.


The player I am most interested in seeing in 2008 is Fev.

We all witnessed his on-field brain explosions this year and I guess you're bound to get frustrated standing at FF with the ball being delivered as poorly as it did for majority of the season.

Well, no more excuses Fev!!! (except for maybe a hole in your chest from the passes you will be on the receiving end of!) It's time to grow up and rise to another challenge!

Anything is possible in 2008 and I bloody can't wait!!

Couldnt agree more regarding Fev.

I expect him to have a huge year and kick 80-100 goals

Looking at our draw (can't believe we play the Hawks in round 22, but anyway) I honestly believe with our amped up mid field good forward line but not-so-good back line - we should win 9-11 games just making the 8. We only lost a few games by less than a kick or 2 against good sides.

If we do make the 8 - we will make it to 2nd round of finals then bomb out due to lack of finals experience.

If we don't make the 8 - we better not be in the bottom 4 again.

I would like to see Gibbs prove people wrong, Murph will have a stellar season as Judd's side kick and Fev better wake up (although I believe he has realised he is now the most senior person in the side and with Judd in, he will pick up his game - look at the training footage for an example).

Hey guys, thought id add an outsiders POV, and dont instantly think i want the blues to be crap, i honestly cant wait till Carlton are winning games again. Ive got the blues pencilled in to double last years wins tally to 8, but wouldnt be surprised to see 9, maybe 10 and just missing finals. I do have you finishing bottom 4 still, but thats how close my ladder is, with 3 games seperating 7-12

I'm not sure whether we will finish top 8 this year but i do beleive that we will be very close..hopefully the team can show us the light at the end of the tunnel, really looking foward to murph having a big year..he was tagged out of it last eyar adn will benefit from the quality midfield that we boast now...another really exciting prospect will be Hampson and A.O'hailpin
