The club asked him, Gleeson, and Hogg not to enter the draft... and they didn't. Mainly because of Covid.So how did we not manage to draft him last season

For those wanting to attend a game of footy tomorrow, head up to Cramer St & catch the Northern Knights v Sandy Dragons game at 11.00am.
Mackenzie Hogg has been selected for Northern & Charlie McKay will be playing for Sandy.
It is part of a double header. Eastern Ranges play Oakleigh Chargers in the 2nd game at 1.30pm. Unfortunately Tom Silvagni has only been named as an emergency for Oakleigh, but he did end up playing last week after being named as an emergency. The highly rated Tyler Sonsie will be playing for Eastern in this game.

Tough going early on in the Knights v Dragons clash. Showers on & off, greasy ball. One goal apiece. Charlie McKay kicked Sandy's goal with a snap from the pocket. Akuei kicked Northern's goal, following some good body work. Mackenzie Hogg a good handball to help set this up.
McKay doesn't mind getting in the face of his opponents.

A very scrappy 3rd quarter sees the Dragons just starting to get on top.
McKay looking to hurt people. I wouldn't mind seeing him channel some of this aggression at the ball.
Hogg laid a couple of good tackles, but was mostly unsighted. On the bench a fair bit I would suggest.
Akuei thereabouts. He is quite raw though. Still looks to be learning the caper.
