Brown to depart Blues

General Manager of Women's Football Ash Brown to depart Club

THE CARLTON Football Club can confirm that its General Manager of Women’s Football Ash Brown will depart the Club.
After more than a decade involved in the AFL, VFL and AFLW, Brown will take on an opportunity outside of the football industry.

Since arriving at the Club in 2019, Brown has been instrumental in continuing to build a strong culture amongst the Club’s AFLW side and ensure the program has continued to go from strength to strength every year.

Inaugural Blue joins 2021 leadership group

Darcy Vescio will join the Game Changers’ leadership group for the upcoming 2021 AFLW season.
After being voted in by her teammates, Vescio will return to the leadership position she held during 2019.

She will be added to the existing group that includes co-captains Kerryn Harrington and Katie Loynes as well as experienced duo Alison Downie and Nicola Stevens.

Harrington and Loynes will captain the Blues for a second straight year.
