This photo was taken in either July 2000 or June 2001 or August 2001 at Football Park. I can't 100% remember which. I thought that people might like to see it. It is myself, my bestie and bestie's younger sister. I am closest to the camera in the stripy top. I didn't miss many Carlton matches at Footy Park since the Adelaide Crows came into the AFL competition in 1991, attending with various friends over the years. (Actually I did miss one in 2009 when I was in Europe, the one where Waite did his knee). I was an avid SANFL goer (Norwood) and had season tickers to the Crows first couple of seasons and used to go every match. I remember that our first match at Footy Park was Easter 1991 and Carlton beat the Crows. Go Blues.

I was there as well when we beat them in that first game in ‘91. Was sitting amongst our cheer squad thankfully...

Was there :p

Got walk up Members Tickets at the gate, god knows how, but that joint was chockers.

How we won, have no idea, the enduring memory is every time we went forward in the 2nd half, Murphy was on his own either kicking goals or setting them up.

Best game I’ve seen him play.

....and we always played well at Footy Park.👍

Nah we've been belted a few times there over the years.
Strangest one was the draw with Power. No songs, no real cheering and we all got up and left (us for the pub)

Peter Burgoyne after the siren was the worst one.

Choked big time.....and we were good that year.

Not sure what year it was but I saw us get thumped by the Crows on the day of Andrew McLeod's 300th game. Wasn't a great experience.

there are no other teams worthy
I went to our opening game against Crows at Football Park. We christened them with their first loss in the league on their own dunghill.
I remember we were kind of re-building at the time and remember guys like Andrew Philllips, left foot midfielder playing for us and a few other newbies. Maybe Ratten, Cavedon, Edgar, Verbeek and Reinets and the like. I was staying at my aunties place over long Easter weekend and caught the bus out from somewhere near their small city to Football Park. Probably only person on bus with Carlton scarf on. I felt sorry for the rest on bus following such an abomination as Camry Crows.

Also went to last game by Peter Dean at Football Park. We won in last round of 1998 v Port. I also remember on the Monday I went to the casino for about two hours to actually practice counting cards at Blackjack table. Whilst I was there the Port players turned up on their Mad Monday and I remember Scott Cummings being annoying at Blackjack table stuffing up my counting attempts both by never shutting up and making dumb moves calling on 16 when dealer got something like a 4 or 5. I was not impressed. I tried to change tables and the bloody big goofy idiot came there too. Primus whom was playing too was not as drunk and sarcastically kept calling Cummings champ. I kind of sensed the other Port players were not fans of big Scotty either. I think he was traded soon after.

Not sure what I broke that day but I broke something. All we had to do was bury it for 30 seconds but oh no......
