The Freo pick will be interesting. Can’t match Motlop until after #40 so might pounce. Johnson looks the logic, but with Erasmus already banked will they double down on another mid?

Don’t seem “wedded” to anyone. Clearly next year regarded higher by our recruitment team. May well jump if offered a future second.

It is intriguing Motlop X Factor hard to ignore and I like Bazzo, can’t help thinking we are stalking a specific KPD next draft. Ideally a 200cm pacy, gorilla tamer more attractive than a 195cm interceptor. I have questions about Bazzo’s domestic situation as well. Lost his old man and may not be keen to leave mum and sister for interstate.

Still struggling with the perception of needing more midfield depth, unless genuine wing.

I really like a couple of players and for our list Motlop and Bazzo make sense, but we might be eyeing off a tall while sliding back or in the SSP. Then you have pure talent in Johnson, Draper, Sonsie

Next year gets talked about a fair bit in terms of talls, but currently apart from Busslinger, most of the touted talls are KPF's and or ruckmen

So at the moment we have 27 & 56 and can't use 56 for anything of value other than a rookie upgrade.

Points-wise, thats better than anything left on the board, but I dont think anyone in front of us needs the points, so unless there's a player that falls to 27 that someone wants and we can turn 27 & 56 into a pick in the 30's and a future pick, then I think we'll be left with some unused value on the board.

A lot of talk around that the Cats will take McDonald so we might not have to make the choice between him and a slider.

Will be disappointing. But would still love Draper or Taylor.

Yeah you're probably right actually, but then do they look at Motlop or Butler? I wouldn't be surprised if Freo took Howes tbh. Either way there are going to be some good kids left at 27

Twomey saying we are in the mix for Conway. While I think we need a smaller player, he looks a decent ruckman who could work well with TDK. I think we have other priorities though.
