Here are some draft camp results for the players we drafted, Clint Benjamin is super impressive and these results give me more hope of him playing like Adam Goodes in the future. Great job at the draft from Wayne Hughes, super impressive. Only question mark in my mind is Hampson ahead of Renouf or Tippett who were much more impressive in the u18 carnival.:thumbsu: :thumbsu:

Height: Shaun Hampson 2nd (200.8cm)

Weight: Shaun Hampson 5th (93.1kg)

Agility:

Repeat Sprints (30m): Clint Benjamin 3rd (24.74sec), Joe Anderson 4th (24.76sec), Mark Austin 8th (25.09sec)

Vertical Jump: Clint Benjamin 3rd (67cm) Fantastic leap

20m Sprint: Shaun Grigg 6th (2.92sec), Clint Benjamin 9th (2.95sec)

Beep Test: Joe Anderson 6th (Level 14.04)

Here are some others performances from our draftees:

Austin: 20m sprint - 3.00 secs (top 25%)
Agility - top 18%

Hampson: 20m Sprint - 3.00 secs (Super impressive. Better than Leuenberger)
vertical leap - 86cm, top 5% (Unusual. Doesn't seem consistent with other results. Maybe it is a running vertical leap?)

Bryce Gibbs: 20m sprint - 3.00 secs
Agility - 8.32 secs

Joe Anderson: 20m sprint - 2.98 secs

That's what I thought. Everyone has been making a big deal about Leuenberger's time but this guy is the same size and has gone faster.
still about 3cm off. but still alot faster than leuenberger.
im quite happy we didnt pick up leuenberger (1) i preferred gibbs (2) now i dont have to spell his name much more on bigfooty

Didn't Clinton Benjamin run the 100m in 10.98?

If so, than that is ********ing amazing. That is faster than Matt Shervington and Patrick Johnson.

Yean 10.98 is fast. If we can develop his footy skills he could be a star (they need a lot of development).

Also, Matt Shervington's best is 10.01 secs and Patrick Johnson's best 9.91 secs. He's still a long way off them.

It's fast enough. Does he know how to use it though?

His disposal is reasonable, like some of the others we selected. Will no doubt need some work, but it will get there IMO. He is athlete first, footballer second-so it is a bit risky, but it will pay off in the end.
