Are you a paid up member? I'd like to hope most of us are here, just curious to check the numbers. If so, how long have you been a member for?

Well for starters, I am a member, as is my son and have been for just the 3 years... a couple of stints before that but never renewed often, pretty slack but now money isn't as much as an issue as it once was I will renew each year from now until the rest of my life :thumbsu:

Kind of...

I am an AFL member with the Carlton Club support which means I get all the perks of the AFL membership and for no extra cost to me Carlton get the membership number on their count along with the base membership cost (which I think is $120) from my $310 yearly fee. Additionally I get the membership pack which I am yet to see but not to worried about.

Been paid up since November.

Always been a Social Club member up until 2 years ago where I just renewed as a Silver member. This year I am a Premium Gold member with a reserved seat.

20th year for me :D

I didn't vote because I always get my membership in March (before Round 1) for my birthday - so I will be but not yet!

BG we're not the same person are we....I too am born in 1983 (assuming that's where that comes from) and in the social club...and a girl...it's creepy :p

21 years as a member this year :thumbsu:

Sorry guys im going to have to rain on the parade here a bit. Im not a paid up member.

This is only because of 2 reasons. I work EVERY saturday and sunday, meaning the amount of games i get to attend is quite limited. I Usually get to about 4 games a year (when they fall on friday and saturday nights), but watch every game in full on replay and listen to it at work on the radio.

Not that this is the complete reason, as i would love to be a member every year to support the club, even if it meant never attending a single game.

But being a uni student and not having the luxury of a large amount of disposable income, paying for a membership i will barely use is simply not viable.

I've been a lifelong carlton supporter (and nashed my teeth in the stands at princes park for all my junior years), so consider me a member in waiting.

Same here.

Yep been a member for over 10 years, the bad part is I haven't seen Carlton play for at least five years, now that is sad.
(I did get to see the Filth / WCE Semi last year when I dropped into Perth) Maybe I'll get to see the boys play in Mar 09 when I return to the home of football for a few weeks.

This is my 6th consecutive year as a member. I signed up when times began to get tough and i am continuing to throw my support behind them financially and emotionally no matter what, but boy am I looking forward to some great times ahead on field :D

Paid up member since 99.

Used to get across to melbourne about 5 or 6 times a year but haven't for the last few years, although I think i might start getting across a bit more frequently in the near future...

For some reason every yar when i get my member ship card, it says that i have been a member since 1988, even though i was born in 1991!
Think it was a stuff up, and it is supposed to be 1998.
I'm not complaining though!:thumbsu::)

first year this year...my gf bought it for me. used to go to every friday and saturday night game before this year coz of work but will deffinately be calling in sick often to see the boys on the field

dont get me started on this subject matter........:p........the only good thing to come out of the hawks down here is that i got to see kouta play one last time last year in the NAB cup game. also gibbsy's 2nd game, we also won just to piss off the small majority that were hawks fans that were there last year. over 75% of the crowd was navy blue.

When im living in Melbourne I get a social club membership. This is the last of three years living in tassie which means interstate membership.

Not paid up yet. Its only about $1oo but thats alot to a full time student

  • Yep this in my 5th consecutive year as a paid member live in brissie but try and get down at least 2x a year to watch them we are coming down for R1 - can't wait!:)
