Carlton formally request Priority Pick

No PP's will be granted and neither Kreuzer nor Lueuenbeger will be offered a contract suitable to fulfil the requirements for band 1 compensation.

Why doesn't everyone chill out and enjoy the finals series?

Did they forget they had literally won a finals match literally 2 years ago? :drunk::$

What is it with pathetic mobs asking for hand outs when we were s**t we told the afl we don't want a priority pick. Get good people into your club since Ben gale joined us from the afl we have gotten rid of all our debt upgraded our facilities and hardwick is the first coach at Richmond since Hafey to play in 3 finals campaigns in a row

By merely asking for a priority pick Carlton is further enhancing a long-held erosive club culture which suggests they are never prepared to do the hard work to become a great club. They always look for short cuts and easy fixes - sometimes illegal ones as we've seen in the past. Carlton need to follow St Kilda's and the Bulldogs' example of recent years - bottom out, work hard to rebuild and invest in a strong culture. They should not be seeking hand outs, leg ups and short cuts.

You seriously can not be that stupid.
Carlton applying for a PP is simply ensuring that AFL plays with a straight bat. Nothing more. If you can not see that then walk over to the wall and move your head forward and backwards until you lose consciousness.

This is a great solution. Every team in the AFL should get a priority pick, based on the order in which they finish the season. Carlton and Brisbane can then get band 1 compo for Kreuzer and Leuenberger straight after their 'first round' picks at 20 and 22 respectively.

*ingg genius!

I think they are asking for a little accountability in AFL decision making, rather than just caving in to the 'Brisbane get Schache' agenda.

The whole priority pick thing should be abolished and we should have a relegation league like the EPL. Two leagues of 15 teams. The bottom three teams normally don't deserve to be playing at the highest level.
