Dont care how early they trained...it's too bloody hot to do anything but go to the beach today. Levi would've burnt off another few kegs though :thumbsu:

Looks like Murph is heading down to the beach .........

Absolutely knackered... Gotta love saturday morning sessions!! Absolute flogathons...

Yes I know ..... Twitter thread :p

My quick impressions from this morning:

Warnock in top nick. When he was playing deep forward in the match drill he looked like a natural forward who read it well and positioned well. Very important player this year in the Ruck and up forward.

Gibbs skills are constant. Not iffy or hot and cold like most onballers. Just constantly good like the elite players. Hope Gibbs can go from good/very good to elite the next few years.

Watson will play a fair chunk of the season in the seniors. Very fit. Uses minimal energy to do maximum work. Reads it well and uses angles to cover the incoming ball. Looked good in everything he did.

Jamison is almost unrecognisable with the extra bulk. If he can carry the extra kg's well his extra strength will be a big boost to our backline.

Robbo must play because he is full on and just has something that good teams need. A bit of madness. He just has to iprove the finesse in his kicking. He can roost it but he doesn't place it well to position. Doesn't matter though, he will play.

Duigan to me just looks like what he probably is...hard, strong but just a grade below.

Houlihan was moving well. Don't think there's any worries with his knee. Him and Walker def look like being the medium forwards this year.

Very happy with #18 and #34 in the draft.

Frustrating seeing Kruezer, Henderson and Hampson in rehab, but hey it's only early Jan. Kruezer will rip it up when he plays.

AFL footy is all about rolling packs, strength, quick hands, body work , accurate short to medium kicking, seperation and accurate goalkicking.

Training isn't that pretty to watch. There is a lot of onball pack work.

Any sign at all of big Luke Mitchell?

Didn't see Mitchell at all, although could have missed him as the rehab group were over the other side of the ground. Garlett was def in there.

I wanted to see how Davies trained, as i want him in our best team, but it's bloody hard to tell all the mediums apart from a distance and couldn't really pick him up.

Another one who i thought trained well , although he's not a favorite of mine, was Joseph.

On Thursday morning, he walked one lap.
Didn't have any strapping around his shoulder.
That's about all I can report of Mitchell.
Andrew Collins' tears will heal Mitchell and Henderson.

Laying odds that we've got Henderson putting in the miles on our low gravity treadmill and the treadmill in the pool.

Give it up, A. Nobodies gonna give you a serious answer with all those double intundras all over the place.
