Can't you just post the link to all the photos?

That's alot to download if the poster is on dial up(which I'm not).

I can of course, but plenty of people complain that they can't access the various sites; so can't read the blurb or see the piccy's! ;)

Also considering that this thread has had a huge number of hits on all the Carlton sites it is on, the most being here on Big Footy; it is apparent that it is pretty popular with posters. You like I, may be a member of other sites, but a lot stick to one or two sites and don't want to venture out of their comfort zone. One of the sites do not allow any cut and paste and restrict reports to links.

In summary, Big Footy readers can stay on Big Footy and see all the important Training Reports without going outside this enviroment. :)

Why don't the moderators make a sticky of training pictures and one of training reports so we don't have to wait for the computer to load as long when we just want to read training reports

For what purpose?

If the club could see their way to a breakfast and opening the shop a little earlier, they may even make a buck or two. Seemed like there were about 300 there on Saturday. Come on admin. Keep up.

phew, glad to have that out.

Uncle John:
I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

Did you happen to notice the small markings that were on many of the players upper arms. I’d say that there was a fair bit happening in the rooms for the hour & a half we were waiting.

^^^^^^^^ yeah that wait on saturday was killing me and the fact that i had to leave at 10:30 didnt help either!!!

Did you do your run around Princes Park?

Add the game against the Bombers from Round 3 last year to the list. That should assist as well :)

A small report from South Africa from Molly from over on TC:

ESPN this morning ran a nice little story on the Blues in South Africa. If I was better at technology, then I would try to post a clip... but I'll leave that for our more technologically savvy posters to chase up. Anyway... the report was about two mins... not heaps to report, but here goes:

- pics were of the boys at a water park and out on an animal safari
- interviews with both Ratts and Chris Judd
- Ratts said the usual things... looking for team building, looking to get a few things in place (didn't say what those things were). We've got to improve, etc.
- Judd: club obviously disappointed with where they finished last year. A lot of optimism in the club, and now is the time to take some steps forward
- a few pics of Matty Lappin... so obviously we've taken the development coaches over
- Murph was sitting next to Ratts on the safari coach... sucking up

- It seems harder to pick our players this year... Bower fooled me with that haircut!
- and the Pommy reporter made some comments all about the AFL trying to expand the game into South Africa

Is there any news/write up about the practice match played last week? Had no idea there was even one yet I've seen it mentioned here a couple times?
It was a closed session with only a couple sneaking in somehow.

For those who havn't read about it, Clinton Benjamin injured his groin whilst training in South Africa a couple of days ago. As a result he missed the Freo match. It's a big shame as apparantly our coaching staff had been extremely impressed with him

Any idea how serious the injury is? Could he be ready for nab cup or challenge matches?

Nope, but our next training sessions are on Thursday and Saturday at 9am and 8:30am respectively
