Roast Carlton in no man's land

Lol blues fans have such an interesting coping mechanisms of if you don’t win the flag you may as well be 18th.
Not playing finals for so long rots ya brain

Matthew Owies is a walk-up start in their team - you can excuse them for being a little crazy.

Does anyone at carlton in the inner sanctum actually like Voss? I'm hearing no, and watching them play certainly does nothing to dispel the rumours.

Fish rots at the head and Sayers is a real creep
Sayers has been involved in the sackings of Bolton and Teague. He may have even been on the board prior to Bolton. If Voss is sacked then he’d have to show himself out as well. Astonishing that the board hasn’t changed a lot whereas the head coaches have.

Sayers has made himself a success in life by taking credit for others people good work and shifting blame for failures to others.

That's his special skill.

A real creep

Because the head coach talent pool is ******* tiny
And the coaches who are available don't want to work for Carlton.

Except for Voss, who had already been rejected for senior coaching gigs numerous times. Even Carlton had rejected him before.

Yep.

Why on earth would you want to coach Carlton? A classic example where the money isn’t worth the stress.

that is terribly sad

to have a memory as special as that and not even be able to recall it
CTE is a horrible thing, but no less than Parkinsons or Alzheimers.

Having little or no memory of your most loved or the life you lived is a truly devastating loss.

More so for the people who love you and lived your life with you who lose you.......

NO fan of Voss, but it is Carlton.
Carlton can tarnish anything.

Malthouse is lesser for having coached them, despite being a WA legend and a Collingwood Premiership coach.

That is actually the skill of any CEO.
Do you really think these people actually "do" anything?
The convince the weak that they know something they do not.

Carlton have really backed them self's into a bad position with players being over paid and on long contracts that will backfire in 2-3 years time
They have gone all in on winning a flag with this current group that looks extremely top heavy

$..... Cripps
$...... Curnow
$...... McKay
$....... Walsh
$....... Williams
$....... Martin
$........ Docherty
$........ Mc Nuggets
$........ Cerra
$.........Wietering
$........ Saad
$......... De Koning (still to sign)
$ ......... Pitto
$ ......... Blake A

Thats $10 million worth of players that Carlton have invested their future in and if Voss doesnt get this right
That could put Carlton back 10 years with all these long contracts to honour

Stop laying the boots in until after next weekend FFS.
You just know that they are going to pull one out of their backsides this week 😡

Has McKay/curnow dominance and vintage Cripps written all over it

Missing too much in our midfield and our backline isn't quite staffed for the height.

If wright is back though, could be a good ole shoot out
Assuming it doesn rain.
Which if it does, we're ****ed

The words shoot out and Carlton don't exist.
Clearly you haven't been watching Carlton manage to kick a score over 60 points for the past month.
It will be be the opposite of a shoot out. Winner will only need to kick 10 goals to win the match, something Carlton haven't achieved for a very long time

I think Carlton will either win the next 2 or lose the next 2. No in between.

Win the next 2 then beat Hawthorn and they will be 7-1-7 and back in the hunt. Them it's up to them against the better sides in the back half of the year

Carlton fans keep telling me that winning in the first three weeks of September is a success though
