Have liked the AFLW page on Farcebook and all I can get is player profiles from every other club.

Is our marketing team on long service leave?
Bit early for that. They've only starting working the last couple of years as far as I can tell.

I haven’t watched it yet, but it doesn’t really fill the void I think.
I would just love to see some footage of the new guys running around, build some anticipation and excitement.
It’s like that song - one word, one letter, one lie and I’ll feel a whole lot better!
Not that I watch a whole lot of vision, but i'm pretty sure they put it out on twitter now.

That is the problem with someone like fev having a bigger profile than the rest of our list..what is there to sell..its an area Murphy has not excelled.
What is it you want Murphy to do? We don't want a captain to behave the way Fev did.

Why bring Murph into it...seems an unnecessary cheap shot without much cause...

Our time will come.

Herald Sun email update the other day: 50 things you can't miss in AFL 2018.
Tag line: Little Gaz, the evolution of Charlie, clean air for Bucks etc....

Our media stocks will rise as our on-field success improves. I'd even go so far as to say that TFS signing up Fev and Juddy is a good indication that they reckon Carlton will be a big player in years to come, and they want panellists with history at the club that they can leverage.

A bit optimistic that the media is getting on the Carlton gravy train before it takes off. But I do agree with your first point.

Not only do we have a young list on the up, but we also have some potential superstars. Fast forward a couple of years and maybe Weiters is the new Rance. Charlie looks a chance to monster the competition. I'm a huge SPS fan and who knows how Dow will end up. Plus once Carlton are making finals, everyone will realise how good Cripps really is.

You want coverage, you need success. But you also need marketable stars. It's early days (doors), but some of our kids look like they could be anything. How 'excitement' :)

I'm also not sure the media is jumping in early to back our ascent. At the end of the day Juddy is a fairly likeable and very well respected dual Brownlow medallist. I'm not sure him getting a couple of media gigs is necessarily anything more than him being seen as a (apparently gettable) good fit for that gig.

Plus all our other sub-30 gamers who (outside of Carlton supporters) are effectively unknown becoming recognisable to the general public. All you have to do is take a look at those Fox/SEN/etc 'best 22' teams and compare them to those put forward on this board. The media ones really focus on the more senior players while ours tend to have a much greater emphasis on up and coming young talent.

People will slowly realise Marchbank is a gun and not another Jaksch/Whiley/etc type GWS reject. Kennedy and Pickett should do the same. Garlett possibly becomes the draft steal of the year. Hopefully most if not all of Fisher, Williamson, Byrne, Cuningham, Macreadie, McKay and Polson all add to their caps and rise into 'recognisable by average punter' status. Debuts from Dow and O'Brien plus potentially some of the rest either this year or next (Kerr, LeBois, TDK, Schu... who knows for JGM and McDaid).

When we get to a point where media and 'average punter' conversations about our midfield (for example) don't just name Kreuzer, Murphy and Cripps but start including Samo, Kennedy, Dow and Fish (and others) that's not a bad sign that the wheels are really in motion.
