Ha, my god, accidentally left my iPad running maquarie sports radio after Ox and Marco show, their late night guy had some bloke call in, claiming to have played 200 afl games, called himself Milo, said it’s a fact that Brenton(?) Bolton will have his contract(?) paid out after the swans smash us and Troy Langmuir will be appointed as coach, with ex premiership coach Mike Maclure(?)as his right hand man. Our only players are Peter Cripp and “that bloke with the beard And the Irish guy?” He went on but I missed it cause I was busy picking my arse up off the floor..
Find it and listen, you’ll laugh yours off as well.
The Sydney presenter has NFI either but at least admitted as much, and the muppet still gave him a good 10 minutes air time.
“Milo” even said “take it to the bank, club can’t go on with these embarrassing thrashing’s week after week”
Solid gold...

Curious to hear HARKER's take on Weitering, so steadfast in moving him forward last season ;)
I don't hold strong views on this. He'll come good
I can keep putting forward the same things but it's somewhat boring already and can only become ever so much more boring, going forward.

Weitering at his best could become a wonderful player, be it back or forward, but Riewoldt didn't become a wonderful player on talent alone and it was his work-rate and work ethic that took him to a new level. Nothing earth shattering there. Cripps has a self imposed standard and what a standard that is.

Weitering doesn't have to push himself nearly as hard, but he does need to step up the rating and stop looking for sympathy. Enough said?

It's only been in the week where he got criticism from Carlton supporters for getting the Curnows dragged back before the appeals tribunal.

Before that he was fine. He's had his ego damaged.
Prior to the Curnows fiasco, he has been very critical of our rebuild, expecting miracles from the third year whilst not acknowledging that we are as young this season as we'll ever be and that injuries to key players has only exacerbated our struggles on field.

He then led the charge in the outrage of our Friday night games. Although he has a point on this, it's not exactly our fault that the fixture turned out that way. To me, it felt his gripe was directed at us and our horrible team and not at the afl who sets the fixtures.

Then the Curnow boys being thrown under the bus but he didn't seem to have any care at all that May was all but forgotten in the matter.

And now he's slamming the rebuild again. I get that there will probably be no positive media spin on a 100 point belting, but at least acknowledge the injuries we have that is exposing the thread bare depth we have at the moment.

Sounds like Milo was having a good ol thrashing on his own
He did admit that he wasn’t a Blues supporter, neglected to admit that he knew **** all tho. Stressed that it wasn’t Longmire from the swans but Troy Langmuir, who’d got Collingwood where they are today.?
He’s our man. Monday after Swans loss he’s in. He was also coughing a lot so may have been down to stems and seeds, I dunno, he was very sure he was right....

Not really.

He supported Carltons program in the week before Bombers win and saw the victory as an endorsement.

He then decided the Curnows getting off was too much for his Geelong sensibilities to handle and he was seen as the leader of a pack containing Dangerfield and others. FWIW and IMO Gerard was just being his usual high and mighty self, I don't belive he was out to get the Curnows, he just hated Hawkins getting pinged.
The clincher is that he copped a tirade of criticism from Blues people. His fragile ego couldn't handle it(and probably a measure of the man) so he has been lashing out since.

I was very very surprised to see Lloyd leave Matty K out of his top 7 ruckmen....
:drunk::drunk:
Nic Nat
Sandi
Ryder
Gawn
Jacobs
Martin
Witts
Grundy

It’s not hard to leave kreuzer out. I’ve just made a quick list of 8 guys who’ve well beaten kreuzer in the past. Then there’s champion data’s favourite ruck in McEvoy. Nankervis is a premiership ruckman and has durability on his side...
