It’s not hard to leave kreuzer out. I’ve just made a quick list of 8 guys who’ve well beaten kreuzer in the past. Then there’s champion data’s favourite ruck in McEvoy. Nankervis is a premiership ruckman and has durability on his side...

Big hats off for mangrook footy show ! They showed our full injury list .
About time. I'm sick of all these other hacks (looking at you 360) totally ignoring how many of our best 22 are injured and then acting like it's all doom and gloom/wondering why we're so bad at the moment.

I think most shows are reporting it. Article in today's age also referenced some key injuries although not all of them.

Mainly shows like 360, radio like Bartlett and walls who do no research and just lay the boot in for dramatic affect.

If the win is well out of reach and the situation still worsening, I figure f*** it, might as well at least have an easy run to the train and spare myself the ignominy of riding with a trainload of gloating opposition fans.
It has nothing to do with wanting to bail on our club, as Wallsy insinuates.
Getting out of the carpark before the mass exodua make a huge difference too.

Don't begrudge him at all really. He has copped a lot of crap of his own supporter base and stuck fat with us for over a decade for little return. He is 31, in an era where your birth certificate is a usual death sentence regardless of what is still in the tank. There is a lot to think about in general.

I get the feeling that he is not overjoyed at SOS’s contract offer. We wouldn’t get any compo for losing him, especially if we can convince another free agent. I’d be curious about who would be after him? He turns 31 soon, I can’t imagine the offers would be huge.

I find a lot of the mid-level Age reporters to be pretty decent.

For some reason it seems to be the dickheads and sensationalist halfwits that make it to the top of the media game. Plenty of quality below them.

Love Murph but we have pretty much been playing without him for the last two years, so not a massive loss.
Would suck not getting anything of value in return but what can you do, lad has done his time, been there through thick and thin so would wish him the best.

Regardless of his decision, you'd expect the captain of the club to be a bit more optimistic to the media about contract negotiations. It's round 10 ffs..
Yes I agree. It is almost untenable to be the current captain and unsure on your future!! What sort of message does this send to the playing group. Again we look set to lose another experience player and will likely not get much compensation

He would be frustrated, depressed and pi55ed off. Injured again, gets the okay to play again and then reinjured. It takes its toll. Has no bargaining power at the moment because he is not playing. He may not be a people person but he has been battered from pillar to post representing our jumper. He's not a Dangerfield or Selwood, he's a Marc Murphy, very talented and very skilful. As an outside player, he has done way too much inside work, he is still a beautiful kick of the ball when he's fit.

Injuries put you in a very lonely place when you are part of a football side.

Who would want him?
North, GCS, St Kilda-can't see that happening, Geelong need someone young to take over from Ablett;)

Don't know what he is like around the club, but if our medicos can get his body right, he is still a bloody handy player.
