I’m disliking Whately more and more each day.

When is it not a clubs fault if they are down the bottom? When did that become a criteria?
Yeah I’m over him.

It’s ok to have views/standards and scream them from the top of your lungs on national television. But they MUST be consistent otherwise You lose credibility.

Slobbo lost it a long time ago re the bias *don reporting. Wateley is now losing it..

Remove PP’s altogether, allow TPP minimum to go as low as 80% and allow teams to bank salary cap for 3 years. 95% must be used as an average across any 3 year period.

The free agency market is broken, free agents are mostly going to the teams at the top.

Players and agents know that you can’t pay one player 10% of the cap over a long period of time and not have it affect the rest of the list.

So the difference between a great offer that won’t **** themselves a couple of years down the track by a bottom of the ladder team is only 100-200k per year bigger than a team at the top of the pile and they have the ability to play finals and win flags in the short term. Post tax it’s 50-100k

To be brutally frank, Carlton/Brisbane should have been paying a pittance to most on the list the last 3 years, and now should have an absolute war chest that no team can offer and allow massive deals to woo top end FA talent.

Over 2 of 3 years you could potentially be able to pay 20-30% more in salary to bring those FA into the club then pay almost normal type wages for remainder of contract reducing the effect big contracts over multiple years has on the rest of the list.

Why wouldn’t we want a priority pick if our form (or lack of) warranted it.

Certainly didn’t hurt Collingwood or Hawthorn in 2005 who proceeded to win flags in the next 5 years

And it still is. More than any other club. We may be ******, but **** everyone else too. Still top of the list here biatches.
Yes, agreed , but once they were arriving on a regular basis:)

If you count Hawthorn's flags while they were co-tenants, in the 28 years between
68 and 95, 15 were won by the PP based teams.
