Haha some people.. Dow and LOB aren't deadest superstars at the ripe old age of 21, DELIST

LOB hasn't even played 40 games ffs, people already calling to trade him and burn him at the stake, same with Dow too.

Need to get to the 23-25, 100+ game mark and then send them out to pasture if still no good.

Give them time, good god.

LOB getting called soft too when he was the only one to run in and stick up for Docherty in the Richmond game and ended up against Balta.

Pretty sure people were saying Weiterbot was no good in the early days too. :drunk:
Sticking up for someone doesn’t suggest toughness, quite the opposite these days as nothing will ever happen and the game is too quick to carry on with that rubbish. Toughness is putting your head over the ball, running all day to get to the right spots and delivering when it matters. LOB hasn’t shown many of those traits.

Another Coach's Corner video from the CFC this week on David Cuningham.

Some interesting comments from Luke Power talking about him learning multiple position running patterns and a focus on defensive elements and tackling positions. A really strong highlights package from cunners too. Would really love to see him in the 22 as i think he has so much to offer as a mid/fwd.

Also looks like we've got a game lined up for the reserves this week against Box Hill.

“He’s really good for us energy-wise and you can see him bounce around the ground and he’s also a very smart footballer which he’s shown in the last few weeks.

“He’s one you really like playing with as you know you’re going to get consistent effort, he dominated in the VFL playing on the ball and he’s been able to now go forward and add that string to his bow.
And no, Thy does not read SEN...

You mean the Josh Schache that Leppitsch drafted?
It's remarkable that there was a genuine debate as to whether or not Schache or Weitering should be pick 1 and that a fairly large contingent on our forum though we should take Schache over Weiters.

New article in the Hun about Harry. Apparently that he has the capacity to be the best key forward in the comp (according to Tom Hawkins), someone ( Bombers) came hard at him last trade period, and how much his next contract will be. Etc. Paywall though.

“[insert name of TV show], Release date, cast, plot and everything you need to know”. Any article that looks like that, as well as, any article about sports that has anything to do with what a players next contract could be, is bound to be a whole lot of nothing. Those articles are literally saying, “Pay to keep reading me”.

“These actors have died. Number 8 will shock you“ - (with a picture of a very famous actor who is very much alive). Stay away from those articles, too. :p

Gotta love how the HS is trying to up Big H’s pay day. Im sure when Cripps deal is done, Big H will follow. * came knocking with a big offer and he turned them away, then again i wouldnt want to go there. Big H has also been well looked after, he will repay the faith.

When they say the Bombers came hard for him what they mean is Harry (along with Walsh )was the player Dodo demanded for Saad.

I do have the paper. It says "McKay never seriously entertained a move away from Ikon park", "he indicated a strong desire on his part to help lead Carlton to sustained finals appearances" and that "Harry ranks first in the league (17) for inside 50 marks and second for inside 50 contested marks (7). Goes on a bit to say that offers will be considered for LOB and Paddy Dow will feel some selection pressure. Tries to throw some shade over our ability to re-sign Harry due to having to sign Crippa and already large contracts to Brackets and Charlie, but doesn't really succeed. Not the worst Jay Clark piece ever but that's a fairly low bar to clear.
