"Via the Telstra Tracker, Walsh ran 17.1 kilometres: the most recorded of any Blue in the last five years, and the second most of any player across the competition this season.

Not far behind him was Matthew Cottrell, whose 16.7 kilometres of distance covered was the third most of any Blue since Round 6, 2019, behind only Walsh and Ed Curnow two years ago (16.9 kilometres)."

Cottral runs a kilometre for each possession? That's what you call workman like! No easy possessions out the back for that dude.

It is funny... if * were so good and promising then doesn't that make the team that won the contest also promising?

It was at one stage a 49 point turnaround, we kicked 5 answered for once...

And yes Gary Kosi Pickett is the greatest eva! Got him down for the next 10 brownlows and this years norm smith.

360 gives us 90 seconds of coverage, most of which is a negative spin on our win because "the good teams dont win like that".

So sick of the hate we get.
I used to really hate Cornes. He still says some real crap, but at least he gives us and our players credit. Mark Robinson (doesn't deserve the nickname Robbo) is just an absolute piece of :poov1:.

"He (Teague) is the most optimistic man in football" - When talking about he post match presser. What do you expect him to say, that we played bad? 🤦

"That's not how good teams play" - Good teams don't win??

"Watching Carlton fans in the stands was good for footy" - Oh please Sloboo...

I'm sorry but we all know Essendon are garbage. A bottom 4 side. We fail against the top teams every time we play them. Until that changes people are right to scoff.

He’s offended his bummers didn’t take enough vitamins to get over the line against us.

*Former Melbourne HOF player says current Melbourne player is the only Under 21 player rated higher (using whatever rating system they use) than Sam Walsh and he is excited about that after praising Sam Walsh by saying that he got it wrong when he said Walsh wasn’t the true Pick 1 and now he says Walsh is “twice as good almost” as anyone in his age group. Crowd is shocked that Garry Lyon spewed such blasphemy as to praise Sam Walsh.*

Audiolist’s everywhere are high fiving each other knowing that they will always be in business.*

Eddie good on afl360 tonight.

Will enjoy his footy this year (unlike parts of last year) no matter where the club plays him.

Keen to continue helping out the other small forwards.

His son has been having a crack at him for missing goals. His son has also advised him not to bother helping out up the ground, just stay near the goals.

Wants to play as long as he can. Is really enjoying footy and life at the moment.

"Carlton has a bit of a conundrum on their hands.
They have too many on-ballers and not enough centre bounce opportunities to share around."
Spot on - almost reads like it was written by someone on here (a number of us on here)

"It looked like he was set to translate that form to AFL level against Essendon, winning three clearances early in the game before a poke in the eye ended his afternoon."

I tell ya what, those pokes in the eye pack a punch these days lol
