Gex, he struggles. Says he operates on analytics but his analytics and then logical conclusions are very shaky. Had some silly insights last season.
Gekko may not be music to the ears but the points he makes are very accurate. He cuts out the waffle and delivers an unfiltered, accurate assessment of kicking skills, cohesion and pressure. His comments on Dow are correct.

He also uses words incorrectly, a lot. He adds some interesting stuff but let's not pretend that he is a football scholar.

To my mind the thing that was happening was they were trying so hard but not enjoying their football. That really seemed to change from the start of the match this week. Then as that slightly more relaxed approach started to pay dividends it caught on right through the playing group. Suddenly they had time and timing and patience to build.
They’d previously played 1 or 2 quarters but that was their first 4 quarter effort. To me their approach looked pretty similar in all other respects.

They were however cleaner with their possessions and held their marks better.
