Think your missing the point to some degree personally don't care what a players injury is but if he/she is going to be out of action for a period of time I think the supporters should know the correct timeframe .Correct in this case, but the point still stands, not all injuries should be disclosed in minute detail

Not the stock standard 1-2 or no update on a particular player at all .
Up until a couple of weeks ago I was wondering if Harrison Macreadie was still alive .
The club is very tardy in this area .
Its called transparency and treating your supporter group with respect .It really is a fine line, perhaps a broader timeframe 4-8 weeks, would satisfy most people, but then again if it drifts a bit further, people will still complain
Out of curiosity if an injury was 4 or 8 weeks, what does it really matter? What will supporters gain from either timeframe?
Fair point.
Not sure an opponent would try and target Willo's bowel and digestive system though.....
Did his beloved Bombers lose again?Stupidly flicked on AFL 360. Robbo wants the runners back as we need to encourage younger players. Turned it off

What does the club get out of not being up front atleast with time frames a player is out .
Better than 1-2 weeksAgain, what do supporters get out of it?
As an example, Willo out for 4 or 8 weeks, what now?
Better than 1-2 weeks
As long as tbe genes are from Murphs side of the family.Future father son right there.

I prefer no runners ever - let the players play. let coaches talk to players when they are on the bench if required. Simples.
If the AFL stick to their guns the club should appoint a specialist bench coach, a skilled communicator who can deliver messages to players and keep them motivated and focused on the task.
