CARLTON headlines a list of four clubs sanctioned by the AFL on Thursday for failing to update their players' post-season movements.
The Blues have been slapped with a $10,000 fine under the League's drug testing code with the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority where players are required to provide up-to-date information on their whereabouts to permit out-of-competition drug testing.
Melbourne was hit with $5000, while reigning premiers Richmond and the Western Bulldogs received $2500 each.
Not buying it - it was only vitamins.
Look I don’t know what we were taking but I know it wasn’t illegal
Why were Carlton fined $10K.
Melbourne fined $5K, Tigers & Bulldogs $2.5K ea.
Oh yes of course, because Carlton ... silly me!
My initial guess... $2500 per player or per infringement. Maybe carlton has 4, the dogs/tigers has 1 and Melbourne had 2?Yer I know right let’s just fine the clubs different amounts but make sure we hit blues the hardest
Gil and his cohorts can GAGF
My assumption was that we had 4 breaches of the policy, compared to Melbourne's two.Why were Carlton fined $10K.

But if you read it Tigers are repeat offenders
Breaches this year. But if you read it Tigers are repeat offenders
Tigers are repeat offenders and Carlton is the headline, why am I not surprised? But if you read it Tigers are repeat offenders

More clicks more money
The question shouldn't be why we had a bigger fine, but why our fine wasn't suspended like their first fine.
The Tigers were previously fined in December 2017, also forced to pay a further $5000 at the time for a previously suspended sanction.
so it's about players alerting the club at all times of their whereabouts so the drug testers know where they are? that it?

Both times in their premiership years.
