Chalk and cheese: Big H primed for big 2021
If there's one Carlton player who knows the merit of a complete summer, it's Harry McKay.www.carltonfc.com.au
I wonder how his brother’s developing physically. If Harry’s ahead of him that’d be testament to AR and our system.New body. New haircut.
Harry is primed and ready to explode.

Pre-season report card: Forwards
Assistant coach Cameron Bruce speaks on the pre-seasons of six Carlton forwards.www.carltonfc.com.au
"With Martin set to tag-team through the midfield and forward line this year alongside high-priced off-season recruit Zac Williams"
"Martin is keen to push more into the midfield this year, looking at a 50-50 split along with former Giants defender, Williams, who will have a different role at Carlton."
Blues star Martin grateful despite ‘massive’ financial hit
The poster boy for the AFL’s colossal pay cuts last year says the Blues are “desperate” to end their eight-year finals drought, having learned plenty from a string of near-misses in 2020.www.theage.com.au
Only the 2 arcs I see. Might be different to the 2 I was suggesting, but that's beside the point .
The following (I know it's only Champion Data) suggests we have got a player who is elite in defence (and midfield, albeit from a smaller sample). Why would we have him play a significant chunk (50% according to Martin) of his TOG where he has shown he is only average? With the rule changes he is way better off IMO delivering the ball inside 50, rather than being on the receiving end.

The shared arrangement makes perfect sense from Martin's perspective, but doesn't utilise William's assets to our best advantage IMO.
Even if he does somehow make it back onto the field, will he have the same mobility as before? Doubtful I would say, but maybe he will just play out of the goal square and use his big body to push opposition guys out the way like he did against the W.B. when he kicked 7. I just hope his banged up knee won`t stop him showing off his talent, and I would imagine Carlton would be happier for him to just hang around inside the 50 metre arc anyway, as he copped a few injuries roaming further up the ground!!! It would be really great to see him playing again even though he may have to adjust his playing style somehow, but Russell should be a big help with that!!!
Didn't he kick 7 against Bulldogs playing mainly in the goalsquare ?Charlie in DT’s line-up is the FF. Played better footy closer to goal & commented as such from the coach.
Yep was there and he nearly single handedly got us over the lineDidn't he kick 7 against Bulldogs playing mainly in the goalsquare ?
that .01% has always worried me...Predicting we'll wipe out 99.9% of them this year.
Gee that was a good performance by Chuck , tis why I still think he can be a formidable opponent just playing mainly from the goalsquare if he doesn't get back to .Yep was there and he nearly single handedly got us over the line
