Thanks E.

I had heard rumours from those who reckon they know that the club are pumped about Levi's progress.

Fingers crossed that the glimpses he has shown become shows.
I hope you're right. But he didn't exactly do much in the preseason. Not that he did anything wrong. What he did was good. Just he didn't do a lot. Be interesting to see how the team lines up if Levi starts. I thought with Hendo coming back in, he'd come in for Levi. I don't know if we can play the 2 rucks + Jamo, Watto, Hendo, Waite AND Levi. The closest we got to that last year was without Watto & even then Levi got subbed @ half time.

Yep, every year we are tipped to miss finals.

Everyone thinks norf are the ducks nuts. Why? Don't get why they are rated ahead of us year after year. When was the last time they finished above us?

Is a ****in joke

Really feel like the blues are being summarily dismissed
People are still annoyed because we didn't follow the script last season. We were supposed to lose to Port so that Norf could get into the finals instead. Everyone loves Norf - everyone's second-favourite team, aren't they?
We stuffed that up by coming back and beating Port, then to make matters worse we had the effrontery to beat Richmond as well!
We basically shat all over two possible "fairy tale" finals campaigns before they could begin.
No, we are the subject of so much negative wishful thinking, it's palpable.

Seems to me people should be shitty with Port and Richmond;)

I'm also surprised by the Malt house contract talk...... As if they wouldn't renew him?
But it wasn't even based on speculation we want to renew him or anything. Seemed to me they brought it up because they wanted to highlight how we hired mick for a flag and that has changed. Just another time to rub it in that we might have missed the boat.

However, IMO if we were to re-sign Mick now, with 2 years to run, it would indicate a rebuild of sorts. Not that I'm against that. Can't think of a better coach to help rebuild and develop a list.

Will be getting great pleasure beating teams like North (so sick of the hype), Essendon (In a bit of trouble IMO, list not great, talls over rated, over rated as hell in general), WCE (they're ordinary, get over it) and Adelaide (might be good but great? Nah). Obviously will be great to roll Collingwood and Richmond too. Gee the list of teams I'd really love to beat is growing! Oh, can't forget the Hawks!
